Tuesday-Our Last Regular Day of the Year
Today was great, but somewhat sad, since it was our last regular day of the year. The rest of the week will be filled with end of the year festivities.
We started with reading an informational story about a baby elephant. Then, we divided into two groups to practice plays. We will perform them on Thursday.
Next, we switched for math. In math we explored probability and chance events. After math we read about government from our MI textbook.
After PE, and lunch , we had David's birthday treat. THANK YOU FOR THE YUMMY POPSICLES! We finished out the afternoon with play practice and then did planners, clean up and had a few minutes for Sharks and Minnows!
Tomorrow is Wacky Recess so please wear green and bring a change of clothes!

Monday and Tuesday - Combined!
Both days began with daily grammar and a special letter writing project. We also had math and social studies as usual in the morning. Our afternoons were consumed with more social studies, which is what we have been focusing on now days to finish by next week! Since the weather is nice, we also enjoyed an afternoon recess on Monday. On Tuesday, at the very end of the day, we were fortunate to have an extra art opportunity since we have missed numerous Friday classes. Thank you Mr. Melton for taking your time to let the kids catch up!
