We had a fabulous day! Monday is TIGERS Day so PLEASE wear your Detroit Tigers gear and show your spirit! Can you guess who is pictured below the planner? We had a ghost student return from art class! ;-) Also, look at these three great friends - such amazing girls!

Terrific Tuesday!

We had a terrific Tuesday! We spent most of the morning NWEA testing but we were able to still have time for science and writing today. Please ask your child about our science lesson during which we talked about the different ways that matter can change forms. The kids had P.E./swimming and Art (Mali) and Eng. Tech (Harvath). Overall it was a great day on the Mali/Harvath team! We cannot wait to see everyone tomorrow!

We had a wonderful day today - complete with sightings of the heavy rains from room 107! We are excited to see everyone tomorrow! Have a great evening!

Totally Awesome Tuesday!

We had an awesome day! Don't worry, your beautiful children were photographed before any type of recess and P.E./swimming! They did great!

Also, today all students received a math practice booklet and we talked about all eight mathematical practices. Please be sure to go over the booklet with your child and sign the cover.

Thank you Benjamin for birthday popsicles! What a yummy treat this afternoon.

We had a MARVELOUS day today! Happy Birthday to Ian and Ben! We enjoyed celebrating with Ian's Timbits this morning. :-) Below are some pictures of our "Find Someone Who..." game in math. PLEASE NOTE: your child is bringing home a graded math review sheet - please be sure to ask to see it!

Thank you to those of you who have already sent in all four composition notebooks. Students will need their math graph paper notebook by Wednesday. Also, science notebooks should be decorated by Wednesday. There are not specific directions, just make it your own. If not done already, Writer's Notebooks are due ASAP.

REMINDER: Picture day is tomorrow and we WILL be photographed before PE and swimming. :-) Have a great evening and we are excited to see everyone tomorrow!

Fabulous Friday!

We had a fantastic Friday! We are happy to share that the following items were distributed today: planners, blue Take Home Folders, and two important handouts - an allergy information sheet and an email contact form. Also, for math your child will need a composition notebook with graph paper. We would really appreciate if you are able to send one in. They are available at Office Depot. If you are unable to purchase one please feel free to let us know. We will begin using math notebooks next Wednesday. The other three composition notebooks that you already purchased are being used for science, reading and writing. Have a wonderfulful weekend!

We had a WONDERFUL day today! The kids really enjoyed our activities today! Please be sure to ask about topics such as Mr. Peabody's Apples, locker signs, chalk talk, the BCS Moral Compass and the school scavenger hunt. We also had Spanish and Engage today too! Wow! Today was a FANTASTIC Tuesday! We have an amazing group of kids on our team!
