Measure an object at home to the nearest sixteenth of an inch.  The object can be anything:  your TV remote, Dad’s shoe, the dog’s tail, whatever.  Write down the measurement on a piece of paper (any piece will do) and get a parent to sign.  Bring to your first class next week.

Today we had an awesome day today! The homerooms switched co-curricular so Harvath began art and Mali began Engineering Technology. During science both homeroom continued to explore magnetic properties and we will blog about it tomorrow! Here are some pictures of their experimenting!

Terrific Thursday!

Today was terrific! We continued with division in 4th grade math and worked on a performance task in 3rd grade math. The third graders brought home their work and their math journal to show you! Third graders need to glue the three pages of the performance task into their notebook and bring it back tomorrow. There are pictures below showing what the 3rd grade math journals should look like. In science we began exploring magnetism with a lab. Please ask your child to see their Kidblog post all about it!
