Tremendous Thursday!
We had a wonderful day and we missed our friends who were working with their parents! We had a great morning with Dynamath during both math classes. Your child has a copy to bring home and our absent students will receive a copy tomorrow. As an extension of yesterday's movie, we did some animal research this morning to connect yesterday's movie to both our current science unit as well as to non-fiction reading. There is an extra credit opportunity for students to showcase their creativity and love of challenge using the research done this morning. Some students did an awesome job researching and some students need to continue working at home. Please have your child share their work with you and we encourage students to complete the extra challenge opportunity! We drew a very rough sample and the picture is posted below.

Wonderful Wednesday!
We had such a fun day!! The movie was AMAZING!! We also received some live organisms for our next science unit! Have a wonderful day at work tomorrow if your child is going with you!

Terrific Tuesday!
Please let Mrs. Mali and Mrs. Harvath know if your child will be absent on Thursday for Take Your Child to Work Day! Tomorrow is Field trip to the Earth Day movie. There are no special lunch requirements. However since tomorrow is Earth Day it would be a great challenge to bring a waste free lunch (use all reusable containers to minimize waste).

Fabulous Half Day Friday!
We had a great day today! If you did not send in a clear container for your child to plant seeds on Monday, please attempt to get a clear container about 6 inches tall so your child will be able to observe root growth after we plan our seeds. Also we did not pass out choice our sheets today so you can look at the files below if you would like to know your quarter four choice hour schedule. Have a fantastic weekend! See you Monday!

Marvelous Monday!
Please be sure to read the article about the M-Step test that I posted earlier. Today in math we reviewed what we already know about fractions for both grade levels. The notes are below for the students who need to finish writing them down. In science we began reviewing for Friday's test. We will finish the review tomorrow and then the kids will bring it home to study. Also, during science the kids wrote a salmon post. Please look at your child's blog to read the post. The directions are posted below to revise/finish if needed. Spring picture day is tomorrow! Also, our new plant project will begin on Friday. Please see the directions below.
