Wonderful Wednesday!

Today went by so quickly! We did a lot of work in math and wrote about five important people and what we did with one of them in writing! After lunch and engage we worked on science and social studies! Please check out the awesome posts on Seesaw and Facebook! THANK YOU to all the generous donations of duck tape! The kids are LOVING their business! Also, thank you to those of you who have donated your time to help prepare materials for our class - especially science! We greatly appreciate all you do for us!!

Craft project!

Hi! Our kids have started a craft/small business initiative in order to raise money for some new classroom comfy chairs! They have been working so hard on their OWN TIME to make duct tape pouches. We are almost out of duct tape and we are completely out of the small size ziploc bags with SLIDERS. If you are out and about and would be willing to pick up any fun duct tape and or small ziploc bags with sliders, we would be very grateful!

Marvelous Monday!

We started our day with the Bee-A-Reader assembly and it was awesome! Three of our students volunteered and two are pictured below. In third grade math we began lesson 1.1. Students' math workbook and homework must remain in their binder at all times. In reading we all read a great story and completed a writing activity. Your child has the assignment to show you! Have a great evening! 

Compass Learning Directions

Please have your child log in to Compass Learning over the weekend. The username is the district username and the password is their birthdate password. All students have a label in their planner with username and password information! Try for at least 20 minutes of practice! Kids can pick any activities preferably in math but reading is also perfectly fine!

We had a terrific day! We were very productive in math and writing. Please see the photo below of the corrected answer guide for fourth grade math. This will be needed to check homework tonight. Have a great evening and we look forward to seeing everyone tomorrow!

Wonderful Wednesday!

Hurray for academics! Today in math we worked on a review of some basic math concepts. The work should be checked at home (with the included answer key),  signed by a parent and returned to school tomorrow! In writing we did a super fun writing activity based on pictures on the board. Ask your child about it! Each student also decorated a moral compass - please ask to see it! What a wonderful day!
