Tremendous Tuesday!
Today was a great day! One exciting event- the Mali kids might come home saying "Mrs. Mali drank fish water!" Well, what really happened was that while siphoning water from the tank, we stopped halfway through to empty the bucket. The hose holders moved while I emptied the bucket and the siphon needed to be restarted. So... since there was water in the hose already, some got into my mouth and I had to spit it out. No worries - I did not drink the water!! :-)
Both Mrs. Mali and Mrs. Harvath have meetings tomorrow so we will have subs. We will be in the building though!
Marvelous Monday!
We had a marvelous day! We began a new procedure today and it provides our students the chance to complete a daily reflection after each subject. Below is a copy of each side of the form and your child can explain it specifics to you!
During science we began our new unit with a See Think Wonder thinking routine. We did not get to fully discuss what the picture represents but there were many great predictions. Here is the pictures as many kids expressed interest is having their parents do the See Think Wonder.
