Today was a terrific day! After math we enjoyed our morning recess. As a team, we read the book
Owen & Mzee: The True Story of a Remarkable Friendship. Next, we spent some time silently reading before starting writing. During writing, we focused on grammar and worked hard on daily oral language. Today's co-curriculars were PE/Swim and Art/Eng.Tech. During the afternoon we worked on science as a team. We learned how making observations can help scientists lead to inferences (conclusions). Here are some fun resources that go along with what we did in class today:
The games on the following site seem to work best with Internet Explorer. Please experiment with the different browsers on your home computer to see which one will work. Many kids have luck using an iPad. The NSTA Mixing Colors in the middle of the bottom row is the most relevant but some of the others are fun too!
