About Mrs. Mali

Welcome to our blog! This will be my tenth year at BCS and my thirteenth year as a teacher. BCS is the BEST place to be, with the greatest students, parents and staff! I grew up in Bloomfield, MI and attended Michigan State University. I have a Bachelor's Degree in Elementary Education and a Master's Degree in Curriculum, Instruction and Assessment. My husband of twelve years and I have two children, an eight year old son named Nolan, and a three year old daughter named Sofiella. We also have two Havanese dogs, Otto who is nine and Emme who is eight. We all love playing outdoors together and we especially enjoy sports and exercise. My favorite sports are soccer and hockey. I practice yoga and I also enjoy Zumba. I absolutely LOVE animals; dolphins and elephants are my two favorites! I enjoy reading, making jewelry, dancing, eating sushi, and and most of all, teaching and learning!

About Mrs. Harvath

This year I am celebrating my 16th year of teaching and my 13th year as a 3rd and 4th grade teacher at BCS. I have been married to my husband, Courtney, for eleven years and we live in Rochester with our two children. We have a daughter named Audrey (9), and a son named Caden (6). I enjoy reading, shopping, doing anything “crafty”, and spending time with my family and friends. I was born and raised in Dryden, Michigan, which is in Lapeer County. I lived in this small town with my parents, Frank and Becky, who were also teachers. I attended Olivet College for my undergraduate degree and Walden University for my master's degree. I am a kind, enthusiastic, fun, organized, and caring person. I love kids, I love teaching, and I love BCS!
