A Marvelous Monday!

Today was a marvelous Monday!  We began the morning with a Battle Launch assembly for the 4th graders which meant a double math class for the third graders and myself. Yay!  After math, we had writing workshop.  We talked about Dragon Dictation (an App for iPods/iPads) and how it can be helpful in revising (if it works properly).  We also discussed bringing in digital devices to help in revising (laptops/tablets/iPads).  


Our morning Co-Curricular was Engage.  Then after lunch we had DEAR and our classroom meeting.  For the remainder of the afternoon we worked on science.  Lastly, we discussed Goal Setting which went home today.

HOMEWORK: 
*Please bring in a water bottle and a silent reading book!
1) Reading: 20 minutes for 3rd / 30 minutes for 4th
2) Math: EVERYONE: Use IXL and practice basic facts!              

              3rd: Fact tests ONLY IF not taken last week, JP 62, HL 3.3             

              4th: 3.10

3) The nouns packets are corrected and they should come home!  Please use the packets and the online games to study for Friday's Noun Quiz.

4) Land and Water test is on Friday (once we're finished with the review in class, it will come home as a study guide).

5) GOAL SETTING is due on Monday 11/14.
