We began this morning with a couple videos (they are posted on this morning's post) and then we had book clubs. After math, we had writing time where I shared the next story idea. Some kids worked on finishing their final draft to make an audio publication, some students were recording and a few began the next story.
During third grade math, we investigated parallel and intersecting lines. We found some amazing examples around the room and we had a great discussion.
After swimming, and lunch, we had DEAR and then Spanish. After Spanish, we began a new project: we will research various Michigan ecosystems and then the kids will create Public Service Announcements (PSAs) related to their assigned ecosystem.
We ended our day with a classroom meeting; we always enjoy this time together as a class.
*PLEASE REMEMBER THAT THURSDAY IS A LATE START. WE WILL ALSO GO TO THE DSO AND WE WILL HAVE TO EAT ON THE BUS. THAT MEANS A PEANUT-FREE LUNCH MUST BE BROUGHT FROM HOME.
