During third grade math, we began unit 5. We worked with place value to the ten-thousands. The HW is JP 103 and HL 5.1. Please be sure to read the Unit 5 Family Letter.
During writing, we had a mini-lesson where I shared a personal story. We talked about details and revising and then the kids retold their memories from the theater experience when we visited the Henry Ford Rouge Tour. Then, the kids continued to revise their stories from before break.
After PE, lunch, DEAR and Spanish, we had co-teaching with Mrs. Truesdell. The kids worked on their wiki portfolio pages. Then, for the remainder of they day we read more from Cosmic.

*We will need some parent volunteers to help us get set up for our Ecosystems unit. It would involve cutting 2-liter bottles. Directions will be provided. It could be done here at school or at home. Please let me know if you are interested!
