Friday ended up being a fabulous day! (Despite the fact that my commute ended up taking 1.5 hours!) We began with math which was a great way to start the day. In third grade math we worked on finishing lesson 9.7 - Sharing Money (division). We extensively discussed JP 222. The HW is to finish JP 223 and HL 9.7. Also, online fact quizzes and IXL are due by Sunday.
After math, we got ready for our Reading Party at Maple Village. Our time at Maple Village was absolutely WONDERFUL! Both the residents and our students had a very nice time. We also were able to see Sophie the poodle perform some wonderful tricks! When we returned, the kids had some time outside while waiting for the surprise pizza party! It was very nice to eat lunch together at as class! Thank you to all the parents who joined us for the reading party and for the pizza party!
After lunch, we had some time for DEAR and then we worked on an art project. Afterwards, we cleaned up and had Sydney's birthday treat. Thank you, Sydney, for such a yummy treat!! Have a WONDERFUL birthday tomorrow, Sydney!
