Today was a wonderful day! We started out with grammar in the morning and then went into math. During math we investigated the lattice method of multiplication. We worked on two journal pages related to lattice, only one of which I required kids to try lattice. The other page could be completed using lattice, traditional or partial products. Many students also finished the NWEA test.
After math, we had a short social studies class before Engage. After lunch we had DEAR and then went to art. Finally, we spent the remainder of the afternoon working on science; long science periods are always awesome! We wrapped up our lifeboats investigation and begin thinking about flight.
Lastly, we completed planner and cleaned up quickly, leaving a couple of minutes for a quick game in the backyard.
I hope to see some of you at Dear Edwina this afternoon! Have a great evening!
