Today was a great Pi Day! The weather was also amazing; the kids played in our "backyard" for about five minutes before the bell rang! They have such a great time playing sharks and minnows together as a whole class!
This morning began with time spent finishing book club projects. After math we worked on daily grammar and then spent a few minutes writing.
In third grade math we explored parentheses and investigated how to use parentheses in number stories.
After Engage and lunch we had our DEAR time during which some students elected to write. Then, after art we took the interactive food chain quizzes. Simultaneously, students worked on their portfolios for Student Led Conferences next week.
