Today was a marvelous day! We began with book clubs and then worked with verbs during writing time. We also had a quick Media Center visit since we missed Friday's checkout due to Battle of the Books.
During math we worked on checking JP 154 and then we worked on the Geometry Packet. We completed pages 10-15 in class and then 21-24 are homework. Also, the review I distributed on Friday is due tomorrow. Our Unit 6 test is Thursday!
After Engage and lunch, we had DEAR and I read from our Rosa Parks biography. Then, we had a very valuable class meeting and we talked about a lot of great issues. I really enjoy our meeting time; it really allows the kids to have a voice and the offer such valuable input each time we meet. Then, we spent some time revisiting food chains with an engaging BrainPOP activity.
THERE WILL BE NO SWIMMING FOR THE NEXT WEEK DUE TO JUMP ROPE FOR HEART. PLEASE LOOK FOR THE HANDOUTS TOMORROW AS WE WILL NEED VOLUNTEERS.
