Today was a fantastic day! We began with daily grammar and then spent the morning, both before and after math, working on cursive, Spelling City, IXL, and science exploration projects.
In third grade math, we had computer time to work on basic facts and IXL.
After swimming and lunch, we had a wonderful birthday treat from Laurent. Thank you for the treat and Happy Birthday Laurent! Next, the students went to Spanish. After Spanish we worked on Native American projects and then watched a short video about careers. We ended our day with... you'll never guess... Sharks and Minnows!
Today I sent home a permission slip for our Reading Party at Maple Village on Friday, May 11th. We will need parent drivers for this event. Our room mom will be sending an email with the full details but please consider driving and joining us for this wonderful event. Both the kids and the seniors really enjoy this opportunity.
Tomorrow we will be packing food with Kids Against Hunger from 12:45-1:15. It should be very exciting and it is such a rewarding experience.
Also, remember Saturday is the day when we will see Chimpanzee at 2:45. Please consider purchasing tickets in advance.
A HUGE THANK YOU to those of you who have sent in donations for Clean Table Club. Our room is known as THE CLEANEST in the building thanks to this great game! We're all very proud of this! Thank you for helping keep up the kids' motivation until June!
Thanks for reading and have a wonderful evening!
