Today was a wonderful Wednesday! We began with daily grammar. Next, we read a great story about scientists. We discussed scientific inquiry, variables, controlled experiments, Newton and Jane Goodall. After math, we went to the computer lab to work on writing, cursive, and some students worked on spelling, IXL, or science inquiry projects.
In third grade math we took the Unit 8 test. The HW is JP 203 and HL 8.9. Please be sure the family letter is read and signed by Monday. Also, fact quizzes and IXL are due on Sunday 4/29.
After Engage and lunch, we had DEAR and then art. For the remainder of the afternoon we had science. We continued working with the length variable of our pendulums. We incorporated graphing and prediction skills into today's investigation as well.
Please purchase your tickets for Chimpanzee in advance if you plan to attend!
I hope the students and parents who will spend the day together at work tomorrow have a wonderful and valuable day!
Have a great evening and thank you for reading!
