It was a SUPER Thursday!

Today was a very busy day!  We began our morning with Reading Workshop.  The kids are working very well with their book clubs!   After math, we spent our time on Writing Workshop.  Today we focused on adding detail to writing.  Swimming was the morning Co-Curricular.  

Third grade math: Today was a fun day!  We checked the math boxes from lesson 1.10 and then completed lesson 1.11.  We continued to explore calculations with money on JPs 20 and 21.  We then worked on JP 22.  Homework is JP 22 and HL 1.11.  PLEASE consider the IXL donation.  The program is absolutely incredible.  Please feel free to email me with any specific questions.

After lunch we had DEAR time.  Today's afternoon Co-Curricular was Spanish.  During science this afternoon, we worked on getting our stream tables ready.  The kids bulldozed sand, gravel, humus and clay and they will be observing the water cycle tomorrow.

The All About Me Newspapers are up in the hallway!  Please stop by and visit to look at how fabulous they turned out!  The kids worked really hard and it shows!

1) Math: 3rd: JP 22 and HL 1.11.  IXL and practice math facts for 10 minutes.
               4th: Test Friday

2) Reading: 20 minutes for third grade
                   30 minutes for fourth grade

4) LUCKY book orders due Wednesday 10/19
