Today was a WONDERFUL day! We began our morning with Reading Workshop. The kids are enjoying their book clubs! After math, we worked on the district writing prompt. Before lunch the kids had Engage.
Third grade math: Today was a great day! We checked the math boxes from lesson 1.9 and then completed lesson 1.10. We watched an excellent tutorial video made by Nick and Phillip and then explored calculations with money on JPs 17 and 18. We then worked on JP 19. Homework is JP 19 and HL 1.10.
After lunch we had DEAR time. Today's afternoon Co-Curricular was Engineering Technology. We then worked on identifying landforms in the science lab. We looked at some amazing photos of land and water on Earth!
Also, if anyone would be willing and able to please help with leveling our classroom library, it would be very much appreciated. Please just stop in and visit or email me to let me know if you could help.
The All About Me Newspapers are up in the hallway! Please stop by and visit to look at how fabulous they turned out! The kids worked really hard and it shows!
