It was a SUPER Thursday!

Today was a super day!  This morning we began our new class novel.  We will read The Sign of the Beaver.  We got into our book club groups and began working on the pre-reading activities.  We will begin chapter one tomorrow.  During writing time we worked on our verb packet.

In third grade math we worked on lesson 4.2.  We worked with arrays!  There was also additional perimeter practice.  We worked on JPs 81-82.  HW: JPs 83 & HL 4.2.

Today's Co-Curriculars were swimming and Spanish.  After Spanish, we had computer time where students were able to upload files to their portfolios (if necessary).  Otherwise, they had the choice of working on IXL, the QUIA social studies site, or their verb homework.

HOMEWORK: 
*Please bring in a water bottle and a silent reading book!
1) Reading: 20 minutes for 3rd / 30 minutes for 4th
2) Math: EVERYONE: Use IXL and practice basic facts!              

3rd: Tuesday Fact Quizzes due by Friday. JPs 82-83 & HL 4.2

4th: Lesson 4.7

3) Verb pages 26 and 27 due tomorrow.

4) Salt dough due FRIDAY!

5) Paragraph practice and small moment need to be posted to LA portfolio page NO LATER THAN Friday 12/2.

6) Spelling test 12/9, SIGNED checklist due 12/9 as well.
