Wow! Another week has passed and it was another beautiful day! We began by finishing our biography genre study read aloud book about Rosa Parks. Then, during writing time we worked on daily grammar and writing workshop.
During third grade math we had more fun with parentheses! We talked about lesson 7.5 and then I distributed an additional practice page, due Monday. Also due Monday is JP 168. Fact quizzes and IXL are due on Sunday.
After Art and lunch, we had DEAR time. Then, we worked on map skills; we explored latitude and longitude. Then, we continued Michigan Studies and began reading the second chapter in the Michigan textbook. There were two written activities that went along with the reading. Next we completed planners and cleaned up the room to head to the computer lab for spelling. Once everyone completed their spelling test we came back down and had just a few minutes in our "backyard."
