Wonderful Wednesday!

Today was a wonderful day! Book clubs were great this morning; the kids' projects are beginning as some groups have finished their books.  After math, we worked with verbs.  We'll be getting back into more writing next week!

Third grade math was spent working on the Geometry Packet.  Please remember the Unit 6 test is tomorrow!

After Engage and lunch, we had DEAR.  Then, today's second co-curricular was art.  Mr. Melton came back with the students specifically to tell me what AMAZING LISTENERS the kids were in class!  I am so proud of them and the respect they show while in other classes.

For the afternoon, we spent our time with science.  We finished discussing food chains and then began a research/science/writing project related to The Lorax.  The kids began researching and learning about sustainability.  We'll work on the project for the rest of this week, into next week as well.  The project makes me even more excited than I already am for Saturday!  I cannot wait to see everyone who can make it to The Lorax!

THERE WILL BE NO SWIMMING FOR THE NEXT WEEK DUE TO JUMP ROPE FOR HEART.  PLEASE LOOK FOR THE HANDOUTS TOMORROW AS WE WILL NEED VOLUNTEERS.

Please also remember to check other class blogs/wikis for important information and homework assignments.  The applicable blogs/wikis are on the left side of this page.

Thank you for reading and have a great night!
