Today we had a great day back from break! We began with grammar and then continued grammar after math. Today we talked about capital letters and exactly when words should be capitalized. I also returned paragraphs and many students shared their great work!
During math we began by discussing the Unit 7 test. Afterwards, we began working on Unit 8 - Fractions! The homework is JP 182 and HL 8.1.
After Engage and lunch, more assignments were returned and we discussed each assignment. Then, we went on to Michigan Studies and began exploring the Europeans who came to Michigan.
Please note that Wednesday is Spring Picture Day and a form went home with your child. Also, the new set of spelling words was distributed today and we will test on Friday, April 20th.
We have one more week of Quarter 3, so the kids will still need gym shoes on Tuesday and Thursday.
