Thursday!

Today was a fantastic day!  We split by grade level for pretty much the entire morning since the fourth graders had the instrumental program.  This meant double math for third graders!  (I, of course, was THRILLED about the extra math time!)  We talked about the Unit 8 tests and they were returned today.  We went over each problem thoroughly.  Next we learned about Partial Products - a multiplication algorithm. Here is the lesson from class:

After math, we were still missing most fourth graders which forced us into the "backyard" for a brief game.  Boy were the kids disappointed about that! (Just kidding!  You should have seen the third graders' reactions!)

After swimming and lunch, we did planners.  Then, after math, we worked on Michigan History.  We split the two homerooms apart, again, and I loved my "new" class!  They did a FABULOUS job today!

Tomorrow is Stand4Change so please send your child in a black shirt.  We will do a very meaningful activity in the morning for the event.

Thank you for reading and have a wonderful evening!
