Marvelous Monday!

Today was a marvelous Monday!  To begin, we had Book Clubs as usual.  Then, after math, for writing, we spent time in the Creative Station.

During third grade math we worked on lesson 5.5, very large numbers.  After correcting JPs 106 & 107, we completed JP 108 as a class.  The HW tonight is JP 109 and HL 5.5.  Also, the Friday fact quizzes are due tomorrow.

After Engage and lunch, we had DEAR and then our classroom meeting.  We  had a nice, positive meeting.  Last week was great and we did not have any issues we needed to worry about.  We talked about the Holiday gifts I purchased for our classroom (a four square ball, a basketball and a football).  The kids are really excited to have these important recess items. :-)

During science, the kids worked on their amazing ecosystem wikis.  Then, we went outside to gather materials for our terrariums.  Then, we were able to manage a short recess after we gathered rocks, twigs and leaves.  We don't usually get nice weather like this in December!  What a treat!

3rd: Fact quizzes and IXL for 30 minutes

JP 109, HL 5.5 

4th: SL 5.5 & 5.6, get IXL sheet signed, and do IXL

3) CHOICE HOUR FORMS ASAP - due Monday
