Today was a TERRIFIC Thursday!

Another terrific day!  It was filled with Book Club activities!  A major highlight of our afternoon was meeting with the 7th & 8th grade students.  The 7/8 students prepared lessons about Science Fiction for our class.  It was wonderful to watch all the students interact and it was such a great teaching and learning opportunity for everyone!

In third grade math we began investigating decimals.  We'll continue tomorrow with more practice.  Then, we also finished learning about rounding.  The second half of the rounding worksheet is due tomorrow, along with JP 116 and HL 5.7.

I sent home a permission slip for our 1/26 field trip to the Nature Center.  There is not a fee, just a permission slip.  Please sign and return it by Friday, 1/20.

Also, my husband and I are excited to welcome our second child in July.  Nolan is very excited to be a big brother!

*Please consider volunteering for the Detroit Historical Museum next Friday!  We'll need you and it will be fun and educational!!

PLEASE BE SURE TO REMEMBER YOUR PEANUT-FREE LUNCH ON FRIDAY 1/20 FOR OUR MUSEUM FIELD TRIP!
