What a Fabulous Friday!

Today was a fabulous Friday! We began with book clubs and most groups worked on a project during which they worked really hard.  There are many new projects on the wiki under Reading Workshop.  Check out how awesome they are!  During writing time most kids worked on finishing projects from reading.

In third grade math we learned how to draw angles!  We took notes and then practiced.  It was tricky but it turned out great!  The homework is to finish JP 142 and complete HL 6.7.  Also, the four fact quizzes in the past few day's math posts must be completed by Sunday.  Lastly, 50 minutes of IXL should also be finished by Sunday evening.

After Art and lunch, we had a short DEAR time and then went to the Media Center.  Afterwards, we wrote letters to incoming third graders.  Then we shared some of the book club projects before planners and clean-up.  We ended our day with Science - our Harvath/Mali group project has been great for the kids!

PLEASE REMEMBER THAT WE ARE SWIMMING THIS QUARTER AND ALL STUDENTS MUST HAVE SWIM GEAR FOR TUESDAY AND THURSDAY PE CLASSES. PARTICIPATION IS A MUST TO PROGRESS IN SWIMMING.

Please also remember to check other class blogs/wikis for important information and homework assignments.  The applicable blogs/wikis are on the left side of this page.

Thank you for reading and have a great evening!
