What a Wonderful Wednesday!

Today was wonderful!  We began our day with a fun trivia question and then launched the cursive writing program.  While working on cursive, many students worked on recording their audio publication.

The students wanted me to post the trivia so here it is, ask your child to explain it to you:
A E F H I K L M N T V W X Y Z
      B C D G J O P Q R S U

In third grade math we began to explore angles.  Specifically, we looked at right angles.  We checked both the 6.1 and 6.2 math boxes.  The HW tonight is JP 133 and HL 6.3.  I also explained this week's fact quizzes which are due on Sunday.  Please also spend 50 minutes on IXL by Sunday.

After math, we continued with writing.  Then, the kids had Engage, lunch, DEAR and the first day of ART!!  The art teacher came in to mention what great listeners the kids were.

For the remainder of the day we worked on science.  The kids joined their terrarium and aquarium into one ecocolumn.

*PLEASE REMEMBER THAT TOMORROW IS A LATE START DAY.  WE WILL ALSO GO TO THE DSO AND WE WILL HAVE TO EAT ON THE BUS.  THAT MEANS A PEANUT-FREE LUNCH MUST BE BROUGHT FROM HOME.

Thank you for reading and have a wonderful night!
