Happy Thanksgiving!

Today was a nice and comfy Tuesday in our PJs!  Thank you everyone who participated and donated a dollar for hunger!  This morning during reading and writing time we worked on our portfolios, finished small moments and wrote paragraphs about what we are thankful for.  The paragraphs turned out great.  The kids are going much better at including a topic sentences and then summarizing their topic sentence as the final sentence in the paragraph.

In third grade math this morning we took the Unit 3 test.  Afterwards students completed JP 78.

After swimming and lunch, we had DEAR and then Spanish.  After Spanish we had a special celebration for being so far ahead with our natural disaster projects...  We watched A Charlie Brown Thanksgiving.  Lastly, for the remainder of the day we practiced and performed a Thanksgiving Play.  Here it is!

This week was super short and sweet!  I hope you all have a WONDERFUL Thanksgiving and I look forward to seeing everyone on Monday 11/28!
