What a Wednesday!

Today was a busy day around here!  First we began the day with the nouns packet - we FINALLY finished correcting it!  Then, during writing shared some of the Scott and Ethan stories and then continued revising.  We talked more about Scott Rigsby, who has a wonderful website.  The kids are curious so if you please look at his website ahead of time and then decide if you'd like to share it with your child.  It is very informative.  We will Skype with Scott so I would like the kids to start thinking of questions they would like answered.  Here is the site: http://www.scottrigsby.com

During math we discussed journal pages 54 and 57.  Then we went over the Unit 2 test.  The test needs to be signed and returned by Monday 11/7 please.  Also, in math yesterday we made two ScreenChomps using the iPad!  PLEASE SPEND SOME TIME LISTENING TO/WATCHING THEM, THEY ARE A GREAT RESOURCE! Here are the links, just click each word and you will be redirected to the ScreenChomp!  ADDITION   SUBTRACTION

Today's Co-Curriculars were Engage and Engineering Technology.  This afternoon we had science.  We completed our final investigation with our stream tables.  Your child can tell you all about how vegetation affects the flow of water!

Important note about nouns: The nouns packets that we completed should come home and stay at home. The kids should look at a couple pages each day and perhaps a parent or sibling could help with mini-quizzes to help prepare for next week's nouns test.  Also, in the upper left hand corner I added some links to practice nouns online.

Thanks for reading and have a WONDERFUL evening!!
