A FANTASTIC Friday!

Today was a wonderful end to a wonderful week! We started this morning out with Reading Workshop.  We are nearing the end of our book and many groups are working on fabulous projects!  Then, we had math and worked on writing.  We analyzed some examples of writing and read some fabulous stories .  Engineering Technology was today's Co-Curricular.

Third grade math: Today was a great day!  We spent time practing problem solving skills and then discussed writing.  We also played Name That Number as a class using the iPad.  Here are some pictures from our great week:

After lunch we had DEAR and then we went to the Media Center for checkout.  Afterwards, we read Time for Kids.  It is such a wonderful publication and it has so many great stories!  Lastly, we had science for the remainder of the afternoon. We continued working on reflecting on our last three experiments on the wiki pages.

Thank you to everyone who has checked out our amazing newspapers hanging in the hallway!  If you haven't yet, don't worry, they are not going anywhere!  They are AMAZING so please be sure to take a look!

THANK YOU TO THE FAMILIES WHO HAVE BEEN HELPING LEVEL OUR CLASSROOM LIBRARY.  OUR COLLECTION IS A GREAT PLACE FOR KIDS TO PICK A "JUST RIGHT" BOOK!
