Today was a great day! We began our morning with Reading Workshop. Many book clubs have finished and are working on projects! After math, we spent our time on Writing Workshop. Today the kids conferenced with each other; it was great to hear them share with each other! Engage was the morning Co-Curricular.
Third grade math: Today was a great day! We checked the math boxes from lesson 1.11 and 1.12 then completed lesson 1.13. We explored elapsed time. We then worked on JP 26. Homework is JP 26, 28 and HL 1.13. The Unit 1 review is due Tuesday and the Unit 1 test is Thursday. PLEASE consider the IXL donation. The program is absolutely incredible. Please feel free to email me with any specific questions.
After lunch we had DEAR and then went to the Media Center for a presentation by the school counselors. For the remainder of the afternoon we had science. We used our stream tables to explore the effects of precipitation on land.
Also, if anyone would be willing and able to please help with leveling our classroom library, it would be very much appreciated. Please just stop in and visit or email me to let me know if you could help.
